Like boyfriend jeans but slightly flared and cropped just above the ankle.
Is that really too much to ask world?
That there above is style genius Yasmin Sewell sporting the very jeans I want but evidently cannot have. It would be a novel idea just to buy some regular flared jeans and cut them right? Wrong, I challenge you to find a pair of flared jeans that are also cut like boyfriend jeans. It’s not possible, at least not in New Zealand. It would also be a novel idea to buy a regular pair and just go up a size or two to get the desired baggy effect right? Wrong because I have a sway back meaning even my normal sized jeans don’t fit correctly at the waist, going up a size would definitely mean builders crack.
Why is it that when you really want something (fashion wise) you can never find it and then 10 months down the line, after you have finally come to live with the fact that it’s never going to happen BAM it is everywhere. Obviously I am just so fashion forward that I think of trends even before they happen. JOKES I just steal them from other, cooler people (see above).
See I all I need is these and a pair of snips:
Maybe I’ll have to start raiding the men’s jean department somewhere where they haven’t caught on that Dad jeans are no longer cool… Like The Warehouse, or Farmers.
Side note: this post was almost also going to include cargo pants because for a brief moment there I really REALLY wanted some (again a wide legged, cropped version) and there was not a pair to be found. It’s OK though because when researching them I came to realise that Cargo pants are the epitome of Basic Bitch as evidenced by basic bitch #1 Jennifer Anniston who seems to wear a version of the cargo pants, tank top combo every single day.
