The AUT Fashion Graduates showcased their collections to a packed out crowd last Thursday night. The ‘Who’s Who’ in NZ fashion laced the front row and seemed very eager to see through the eyes of the next generation designers and to capture their point of view.

I thought some collections were very smart with their pattern making and tailoring, truly excellent and refreshing to see. I noticed a strong masculine undertone in a lot of the woman’s wear which I loved , and a few different takes on the ‘Kangaroo’ pant – something I think more of us should embrace.

Great to be reminded on how much talent we have to look forward to.
